He is a stone sculpture artist, specialized in plastic art and public art.In 2003, Fan graduated from Department of Sculpture, National Taiwan University of Arts; In 2004, he won the Kaohsiung Award of the The 21th Kaohsiung Art Exhibition and participated in a few sculpture art camps at home and aboard. In 2007, he joined the International Sculpture Camp in Barva, Republic of Costa Rico; in 2011, he took part in outdoor activity of “BenQ” International Sculpture Camp. In 2014, he joined the Hualian International Sculpture Art Festival and more. He had taught art in several universities including National Taiwan University of Arts, Tainan National University of the Arts, Chang Jung Christian University and more. He had held plenty of solo and group exhibitions: “Creating Landscape” Solo Exhibition took place in PiaoPiao Gallery in 2013. Fan’s public art work has been collected by many public and private sectors. The outlook of his work, mainly stone sculpture, expresses inner feeling toward surrounding in emotional way.
Lately the artist embraced other media such as light, wood and bronze in his work, displaying multifold visual expressions.
