Ho Eva

Born in Hong Kong, she studied art at the Ling Hai Art School in her early years. In 1971, she moved to Paris. She graduated from the École des Beaux-Arts in Paris in 1977 with a degree in oil painting and later studied art history at the Louvre Academy. Currently residing in Paris, her works have been featured in a solo exhibition at the Dragon Gallery in Paris, and she has participated in group exhibitions at the Silkborg Modern Gallery in Denmark and the International Artists Invitation Exhibition at the Trigram Gallery in Hong Kong.

She uses tempera as her primary medium, creating works with soft, lustrous colors that blend figures, objects, and landscapes to express the world of imagery within her mind. Her paintings feature various characters such as circus performers, kings, travelers, and children in varying sizes, skillfully juxtaposing scenes from different times and places to create dramatic compositions. Her style combines the refinement of the Renaissance with the fantastical elements of surrealism, resembling a European storybook. Through her work, she guides the viewer into her imaginative dream world, offering a visual and spiritual journey of exploration.
