
Born in 1939 in Guangdong Province, China, he moved to Paris in 1969. In 1975, with the support of the French Ministry of Culture, he held his first solo exhibition in Paris, and subsequently continued to participate in art fairs and gallery exhibitions in Europe and the United States every year. In 1986, he was invited to teach at the Guangzhou Academy of Fine Arts and the Central Academy of Fine Arts. In 2015, the National Art Museum of China held the "Chan Kin-Chung 50-Year Retrospective Exhibition," reflecting on his fifty years of artistic creation. His works are part of the collections of the Fond Nationale d'Art Contemporain de France, Musée d'Art Moderne de la Ville de Paris, Bibliothèque Nationale de Paris, Musée de Pontoise France, Hong Kong Museum of Art, Qua Shan Yue Museum of Art Shenzhen China, Guangdong Museum of Art Guangzhou, the Guangzhou Academy of Fine Arts China, and the Museum of Central Academy of Fine Art Beijing China, among others.
